Vivek K Shrivastava Co-Founder and CEO

Vivek has more than 18 years of experience of working in the Telecom Industry. He loves innovation and thinking things differently. Virtuosos is his dream company where he plans give shape to his ideas and deliver the technological benefits to the users. Vivek has great ability of visualizing the usability of the solutions from the end user perspective and designing the solutions to suit user needs. He feels that clients should not be allowed to worry about the technology and rather should be allowed to use the technology. Prior to founding Virtuosos Solutions Pvt Ltd, Vivek worked in Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL), India's largest Telecom Company for more than 16 years. He had joined the Department of Teleco in the year 1991 through Indian Engineering Services(IES). |
Vivek headed IT Department at the Corporate level and was responsible for overseeing the implementation and monitoring of Telecom Billing Systems, Customer Call Centers, CRM portal, IT application development, Management of BSNL website and Intranet portal, Fraud Management and Decision Support System etc. He also received award from Deputy Prime Minister of India in the year 2003 for management of the BSNL corporate website which was adjudged as the best government website. Vivek's in-house development of knowledge Management Intranet Portal of BSNL was also included by the leading IT magazine PC Quest in 2005's Top 45 IT implementations in India.Vivek possess thorough domain knowledge of GSM, Broadband, WiMAX, MPLS, Transmission, OSS/BSS and other technologies.
He has worked on designing end-to-end telecom solutions for Telcos in areas like Telecom OSS/BSS (Billing, CRM, Mediation, FMS, DSS, RA etc), WiMAX, MPLS, NGN etc.

Neeraj joined Virtuosos Solutions Pvt. Ltd as Managing Director in January of 2010.
Neeraj spent more than 15 Years working at various positions in Department of Telecom and was involved in policy formulation, encouragement of Foreign Direct Investment in Indian telecom Sector and was closely associated with opening of the ITES (BPO/KPO) industry in India. He has also worked with BSNL as Jt. Deputy Director General and with Tata Communications as General Manager. |

Amitabh Singhal was a Founder and former President of Internet Service Providers Association of India. Apart from having helped write the original ISP policy for India, various other policy and regulatory achievements including helping the Government/Regulator to write various policies and guidelines for Internet Services, removal of restrictions on scope of services, opening of International Gateways, bringing down bandwidth price barriers, etc. are some of the highpoints of his tenure at ISPAI.He is also Founder, was Director on the Board and was the CEO of National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI), which he helped conceptualize and set up as a partnership initiative between ISPAI and Deptt of Information Technology, Government of India and also presided over the structuring of NIXI as the Registry for the .in Domain (Indian ccTLD). |
Currently he is also on the Board of Public Interest Registry (PIR), a Reston, Virginia based Non-Profit, which runs the .ORG Domain. This is the 3rd largest gTLD after .COM and .NET
He was the spokesperson on behalf of the Indian ISP industry for over a decade. He helped shape public policies in the internet/telecommunication sphere from various forums. After a stint in business and office Automation companies from 1983 onwards, He joined GTL Ltd. in 1993, where his last position was Senior Vice President/Group Head (Corporate Affairs). In 2006 he set up his own Consulting Firm, Telxess Consulting Services (Pvt) Ltd. and provides Policy & Regulatory Advisory Services as well as Market Entry strategies to its clients.
He also co-founded another Company, VCON Services which runs Disaster Management Emergency Response Center for State Governments and is also working on R & D to develop critical Telecom Infrastructure solutions. He is also associated with a couple of premier Law Firms in UK and in the US, supporting Funding, M & A activities and providing Policy & Regulatory guidance to the laters Wire line Wireless and Value Added Service Provider clients.
