The mobile applications are designed to work on even the most basic mobile handsets supporting JAVA2. The application can be downloaded by the employee through GPRS or can be installed through Bluetooth on his handset. An option for pushing the software through OTA(Over the Air GSM platform) to all the official’s SIM is also available, if the SIM is from the same Telco.

The official need to just fill in the relevant data in the mobile SW and submit the same. The application sends the data to a central system through SMS/GPRS and instantly all the MIS reports are updated.

Reports can be accessed by the designated officials through their mobile handsets and also through web. Automated alerts are sent to officials on non submission of the report after a particular time and escalation to higher officials is done after pre-defined time. Facility to send the reports are through mail and/or mobile SMS is also available.

To facilitate easy adaptation, the mobile applications can be made available in regional languages like Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi etc. based on the target areas.
